PocketKit Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026 · PocketKit 1.1.0

Most data stays on your device. Exceptions include DNS queries, public IP requests, Google Play purchase handling, and sharing or support actions you choose.

1. Scope and controller

This policy describes PocketKit for Android, package com.mwinteractive.pocketkit, version 1.1.0. The publisher and controller of personal data received by the publisher is MW Interactive — USŁUGI INFORMATYCZNE MAREK WIELEBA, Rzeszów, Poland. Privacy contact: support@mwinteractive.com.

PocketKit does not require an account. Most tools run locally. The publisher does not operate a server collecting measurements, photos, passwords or calculator results, and does not sell this data.

2. Tool data processed on your device

The app accesses data needed for the tool you choose:

This data is processed locally for display and calculations. PocketKit does not send it to the publisher. Measurement results, BMI inputs, birth dates and entered text do not form a persistent in-app history. Readings and charts may remain in memory while you use the tool. Mobile Signal does not read your phone number, IMEI, IMSI or SIM serial number. The app does not record microphone audio or read contacts or SMS messages.

3. Permissions and your choices

Camera access supports QR scanning and flashlight operation. Location access is used for GPS tools and the GPS mode of the altimeter. No background location permission is requested; active measurements stop when the app is left. Images are selected through a system picker. On Android 8 and 9, saving a QR image may require permission to write to shared storage. Vibration provides tool feedback.

You can decline or revoke permissions in Android settings, which limits the related tool. Processing performed by Android, the system location provider or other apps is also subject to their providers' policies.

4. Local storage

The app stores language, theme and unit preferences, ruler calibration, favorite tools and identifiers of recently used tools. The recent list contains no tool results or entered values. Protected storage on your device holds the first-launch time, latest observed time and lifetime unlock status to manage the trial and one-time purchase.

When you choose Save image, a QR image is saved to Pictures/PocketKit. Sharing a QR image also creates an app-cache file. A photo selected for color sampling may be handled through the system picker's local cache. QR files may contain data you entered, including a Wi-Fi password.

5. DNS and public IP

DNS Lookup sends the entered domain to the resolver configured by Android, your network or operator. That provider may process the domain, IP address and technical request information under its own policies. DNS transport protection depends on your system and network settings; the app does not guarantee encryption for every DNS query.

Public IP contacts https://api.ipify.org and https://api6.ipify.org only when you tap Refresh. The ipify service receives the connection's IP address and necessary technical connection information to return your IPv4 or IPv6 address. These connections use HTTPS encryption. PocketKit does not send GPS, calculator inputs, advertising IDs or additional identifiers to ipify, and does not perform IP geolocation.

DNS and IP results are displayed in the current tool's memory without persistent app history, and are not sent to the publisher's server. Provider information: ipify. External providers control their own processing and retention.

6. Google Play purchases

PocketKit offers a 24-hour trial and a one-time lifetime purchase, product pocketkit_pro_lifetime. The app communicates with Google Play to retrieve product details, check and restore purchases, and complete transactions. This can also occur at app startup.

Google handles payments and related account and transaction data. PocketKit receives product information, purchase status and purchase verification data needed to handle the purchase, and stores the unlock status locally. We do not receive your payment card number or send purchase receipts to our own server. Google's further processing, retention and any processing outside your country are described in Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Sharing, clipboard and links

Copy places the selected content on Android's clipboard. Share sends a QR image to the app or recipient you choose in the system share sheet. Opening a QR URL, developer store or email link launches an external app. These actions occur at your request, and recipients apply their own privacy policies. Avoid sharing QR codes or clipboard contents containing passwords or other confidential data with unintended recipients.

8. Promotion and analytics

The app contains a banner linking to other MW Interactive apps on Google Play and a support contact link. It does not use a third-party advertising network, advertising profiling, advertising IDs, behavioral analytics SDKs or remote crash-reporting SDKs. Tapping the banner opens Google Play or a browser, where the relevant service's policies apply.

This policy page loads no analytics or advertising scripts and sets no cookies of its own. Hosting infrastructure may process standard access logs, such as your IP address, requested page, timestamp and browser information, for page delivery and security. Other publisher pages have a separate website privacy policy.

9. BMI and intended audience

PocketKit is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not create child profiles or ask for a birth date for registration or age verification. A date entered in the age calculator is a local calculation input. BMI categories are intended for adults aged 20 and over. Height, weight and BMI results are not sent to the publisher, Google Play or ipify. The app does not use Health Connect. BMI is an indicative screening measure, not a medical diagnosis.

10. Support, purposes and retention

If you email support@mwinteractive.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to include. We use them to respond, provide technical support and handle your request, for as long as needed for these purposes and applicable legal obligations. Email handling may involve an email service provider. Do not send health data, passwords or photos unless necessary for your request.

Local preferences remain until you clear app data or uninstall the app. Cache files may remain until the cache or app data is cleared. Exported images remain until you delete them. Data held by Google, the DNS resolver, ipify and recipients you choose is subject to their retention policies.

11. Deletion and your rights

To remove local data, use Android settings: Apps → PocketKit → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app. Delete images in Pictures/PocketKit separately; clearing app data does not remove all files previously saved or shared outside its storage. Uninstalling does not delete Google Play transaction history or copies sent to other apps. There is no PocketKit account requiring a separate deletion process.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or transfer personal data, object to processing, withdraw consent where it is the processing basis, and complain to a data protection authority (in Poland: the President of UODO). Contact us about data received by MW Interactive. We cannot remotely access data held only on your device. Use independent providers' privacy tools for data they hold.

12. Policy changes

We update this policy when features or data practices change and revise the date on this page. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
