Privacy Policy for SameFrame

Last updated: July 27, 2026

This policy applies to the Android app SameFrame with the package name com.mwinteractive.sameframe. SameFrame helps users build local projects from photos and short video clips and generate movies from those materials on the device.

Data Controller and Contact

The controller for SameFrame is MW Interactive, NIP: 7151867410. Public contact details currently used on the MW Interactive website are:

Local Processing of Photos and Videos

SameFrame does not require a user account and does not provide its own backend for storing projects. Photos, video clips, thumbnails, projects and generated movies are processed locally on the device.

Imported photos and clips are not uploaded to MW Interactive servers for analysis. SameFrame Score, frame match analysis, series analysis and movie export run locally on the device. The app does not use cloud AI to analyze user media.

To keep a project working even when the original source file later disappears or becomes unavailable, imported materials may be copied into the app's private local storage. Users can delete projects and local copies from inside the app.

Movies saved by the user to the system gallery remain there until the user deletes them. Uninstalling the app removes data stored in the app's private directory, but it may not remove movies that were previously saved to the gallery.

Data Stored on the Device

SameFrame stores local data only to make the app work properly. This local data is not sent to MW Interactive.

Project and media data

App state and reminders

Android Permissions

SameFrame uses only the permissions needed for its current features.

Permissions used by the app

Media access

Photo and video import is handled through system pickers and user actions inside Android. The current Android manifest removes broad media and microphone permissions rather than requesting them directly.

Permissions not declared for the current release

The current manifest does not declare location, contacts, call logs, SMS or microphone access. It also does not declare vibration permission in the release manifest.

Advertising and Consent

The free version of SameFrame uses Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Depending on region, user settings, consent status and ad configuration, Google services may process technical data such as:

MW Interactive does not claim to build its own advertising profiles for SameFrame users. Consent forms are handled by Google UMP, and the availability of personalized advertising depends on consent, region and Google settings.

SameFrame includes a visible in-app option to reopen advertising privacy settings when Google indicates that privacy options should be available.

Google Play Purchases

SameFrame offers a one-time Google Play purchase that removes ads and removes the SameFrame ending card from newly generated movies.

Payment is handled by Google Play. MW Interactive does not receive the user's card number or full payment credentials. The app receives only the information needed to recognize purchase status and restore the entitlement inside the app. The purchase may be restored using the restore purchase function available in SameFrame.

Google Play payment and refund rules apply to the transaction. See Google Play Terms.

Sharing Exported Videos

SameFrame shares a generated movie with another app only after the user intentionally chooses the system Share action. MW Interactive does not receive a copy of the shared movie through that action.

After the user chooses an external app or service, any further processing of the movie is governed by the privacy policy of that selected provider.

Accounts, Servers and Remote Access

SameFrame does not create user accounts. MW Interactive does not maintain a database of SameFrame photos, clips or projects. The app does not offer cloud synchronization or MW Interactive cloud backup for those projects. MW Interactive also does not have a mechanism for remotely browsing project contents stored locally on the device.

This does not mean that no data is ever processed at all, because Google advertising and billing services may still process technical data required for their operation.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local app data is kept until the user deletes a project, clears app data or uninstalls the app. Movies saved to the gallery must be deleted by the user from the gallery or file system.

MW Interactive cannot remotely delete local projects because MW Interactive does not keep a server copy of those projects. Questions about data processed by MW Interactive can be sent to support@mwinteractive.com. Data processed by Google is subject to Google's own tools and policies.

Security

User materials remain in local device storage unless the user intentionally exports, saves or shares them elsewhere. The security of local data also depends on the security of the phone, system backups and the external apps or services to which the user chooses to share a movie.

Connections used by Google services rely on security mechanisms provided by Google and Android. This policy does not promise absolute security.

Children

SameFrame is not designed as a service for collecting children's data. Because projects remain local, MW Interactive does not knowingly collect children's photos or project materials on MW Interactive servers through SameFrame.

Changes to this Policy

This policy may be updated when SameFrame features, third-party services or legal requirements change. The current version will always include the latest update date at the top of this page.
