Your counter names, numbers, goals and daily tap history are stored on your device. TallyNest does not require an account and has no publisher-operated backend or analytics service. The app includes Google Mobile Ads, which processes separate advertising and technical data as described below.
1. Data stored on your device
TallyNest stores counter names, values, goals, icons and colours, daily counts of add and subtract taps plus undo and reset actions, together with language, appearance and vibration preferences, in the app’s private local storage. These contents are not sent to MW Interactive or supplied by our app to Google Mobile Ads. Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for app data. Counting and saving work offline.
You can delete individual counters in the app. Uninstalling TallyNest or clearing its storage in Android settings removes its local data. There is no user account to delete. Undo history is temporary and available only while the counter screen remains open.
2. Advertising and Google SDKs
TallyNest integrates Google Mobile Ads SDK through the google_mobile_ads Flutter plugin and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share IP addresses (which can be used to estimate approximate location), device or other identifiers such as the advertising ID and app set ID, app and advertising interactions, and diagnostic information including launch, performance, crash or energy-use information. These data can be used for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. SDK data in transit is encrypted.
From version 1.0.1, adult users may see production banner advertisements on the overview screen. We request non-personalised ads; these can still use device identifiers and local storage for delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Registered development devices use test ads. Version 1.0.0 uses dedicated test advertising units only. Counter screens have no advertisements.
The app does not request precise location, contacts, camera, microphone or access to your photos. It does not include publisher-operated behavioural analytics. Its publisher banner links to the MW Interactive developer page on Google Play; tapping it opens an external app or browser. Google Play’s own privacy terms then apply.
For details about Google’s processing, retention and choices, see Google’s Privacy Policy, Google’s advertising information and Google Mobile Ads data disclosures. Google’s processing may involve servers outside your country.
3. Choices and permissions
You can use all counter functions without an internet connection. Android provides advertising privacy controls in its device settings; their names and available options depend on the Android version. Before enabling advertising, version 1.0.1 asks whether you are 18 or older. This choice is stored only on your device. Users under 18, users who prefer not to answer and users who dismiss this question can use every counter function without the advertising SDK being initialised. You can change this choice under Advertising preferences in Settings. Adult users are shown a Google UMP consent message where required. Ads are requested only when UMP reports that requests are permitted. Where available, the ad privacy button in Settings lets you review or withdraw your consent. Declining personalisation does not necessarily stop all ads; limited or non-personalised ads may be served where permitted. Changing your local advertising preference to no disclosure stops future in-app ad requests but does not erase data already processed by Google.
4. Intended audience
TallyNest is intended for users aged 13 and older, including teenagers. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not ask for date of birth or intentionally collect children’s personal information. Contact us if you believe personal information about a child has been provided to us.
5. Contact messages, rights and retention
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to answer your request and keep correspondence only as needed to provide support and meet applicable legal obligations. Do not send sensitive information or counter contents unless necessary for your request.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of personal data, object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent where applicable, or complain to your local data protection authority. Contact support@mwinteractive.com for information held by MW Interactive. We cannot access counters stored only on your device or directly erase Google’s separately held data; use the provider’s privacy tools for those requests. Local data remains until you delete it. Google’s retention is governed by its own policies.
6. Changes
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change and revise the effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
