PrzejazdPlan is an unofficial Android app that helps users plan around selected rail-road crossings using indicative forecasts and locally followed crossings.
Important limitation
PrzejazdPlan has one careful purpose: helping a driver think about possible disruption at selected railway-road crossings before or during a journey. PrzejazdPlan is developed by MW Interactive and is independent from railway, geodesy, transport and public institutions. It does not represent PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., the Central Office of Geodesy and Cartography, the Office of Rail Transport, or any other state or public institution, and it is not operated, sponsored or approved by those institutions.
The forecasts shown in the app are generated by the PrzejazdPlan system from available input data, including publicly available railway and spatial data. They are not public-institution announcements, traffic-control instructions or permission to enter a crossing. The absence of a forecast, alert, train information or expected closure does not mean that rail traffic, a possible closure or danger is absent.
The app focuses on selected rail-road crossings and does not claim to cover every railway crossing.
Forecasts are approximate planning information and may be delayed, unavailable or incomplete.
The privacy policy describes selected and followed crossings stored locally on the device.
How to use it responsibly
A realistic PrzejazdPlan workflow starts with choosing or finding a supported crossing, checking the indicative forecast, and deciding whether the information is useful for route planning. The app may also use location, if the user grants permission, to show a map, center the view and find nearby crossings. Users can submit a crossing or point on the map, but a report does not mean that a crossing will be added automatically.
At the crossing itself, the app must remain secondary. Users must follow actual road conditions, road signs, traffic lights, sound signals, barriers, service orders and traffic regulations. In an emergency, the emergency number and instructions from authorities matter, not an app forecast. Developed and published by MW Interactive.
