RecallFlag is an independent MW Interactive app that uses official data sources. It is not a government app and it does not certify products.
No alert found does not mean that the product has been confirmed as safe.
How it works

RecallFlag checks the database
The code is compared with product identifiers from supported official safety and recall sources.
Verify the official alert
If a match is found, RecallFlag shows the product code, source, risk information and affected batch details when available.
Exact matching
Exact product-code matching
RecallFlag does not mark a product as an exact match only because it has a similar name. Exact matches are based on a clear product code from an official record.
Name search is used only to find potentially related official notices that require manual verification by the user.
Official sources
Supported data sources
The current app code includes production providers for Poland, Hungary, Finland, Slovenia and Estonia. EU Safety Gate is listed in the app as degraded until a stable public alert API or export contract is confirmed.
Poland: UOKiK dangerous products register
Hungary: NKFH dangerous products
Finland: Vaarallisettuotteet.fi / Tukes
Slovenia: GOV.SI dangerous and non-compliant products
Estonia: TTJA dangerous products register
Source coverage is being developed. Recalls may apply only to a specific model, variant, LOT, batch, expiry date or product series.

Privacy-first
No MW Interactive account or recall backend
RecallFlag does not require an account. Checked codes are not sent to an MW Interactive server, and MW Interactive does not operate a RecallFlag backend that stores product check history.
The app stores the alert cache, settings, daily FREE counters and cached PRO entitlement locally. It uses the camera only to read barcodes. Internet access is used for official sources, AdMob when configured, Google Play Billing and ML Kit model downloads.
