CleanShare helps Android users prepare safer photo and screenshot copies before sharing them, with visual redaction and metadata removal in one focused workflow.
What it does
CleanShare is built around one clear problem: an image can reveal more than the sender intended. A screenshot may show a name, address, order number, account fragment or admin panel detail. A photo may contain GPS location, EXIF and device metadata even when the visible picture looks harmless. CleanShare gives users a simple Android workflow for hiding visible private details and exporting a cleaned copy before sending the image to another app.
The app supports the core CleanShare workflow: hide sensitive details with Blur, Pixelate or Black, add arrows, boxes, drawings and text, rotate images before exporting, remove GPS, EXIF and device metadata, save cleaned images, share them through the Android Share Sheet, reopen previously cleaned images from local history, and edit a cleaned image again without changing the previous version. That makes the page about a practical photo privacy tool, not a broad photo editor or a generic security product.
A typical CleanShare workflow is intentionally short. Choose a photo or screenshot, mark the areas that should no longer be readable, remove supported hidden metadata, review the output, and then save or share the new cleaned copy. The original image remains unchanged, so the user can keep the source file while sharing a safer version.

Remove supported GPS, EXIF and device metadata from the exported copy before sharing it.
Save the cleaned image or share it through Android's normal Share Sheet without overwriting the original.
Privacy
The CleanShare privacy policy states that selected photos are processed locally on the user's device and are not uploaded to MW Interactive servers for image processing. Source images, redaction coordinates, annotation text, filenames, EXIF and GPS metadata are not received by MW Interactive as part of the editing workflow.
Redactions and annotations are rendered into pixels in the exported copy. If a cleaned image is saved or shared, the user chooses the destination. From that point, the selected app or storage location handles the file under its own rules. CleanShare does not require an account or registration. Developed and published by MW Interactive.
