About Nymelo

Nymelo is an app for parents and caregivers. It helps keep a local baby journal, use night light/sound helpers, import personal audio files, generate PDF reports and create local backup files. It is not a medical device, diagnostic app, health monitoring system or sleep analysis tool.

Information stored on your device

Nymelo stores app data locally, including a child's name or nickname, optional birth date, optional profile photo, feeding, diaper and poop entries, manually registered sleep sessions, notes, optional entry photos, app settings, playlists and user-imported audio files. MW Interactive does not operate a functional backend for storing the child's journal, photos or imported audio, and the app does not require user accounts.

Photos, audio, backup and PDF export

Photos selected by the user are used as local profile or entry attachments. The app does not analyze photos and MW Interactive does not receive copies of them. User-imported audio is selected with a system picker and may be copied to private app storage; it is not uploaded to MW Interactive.

Backup files and PDF reports are created locally. The user chooses whether to save or share them. If a backup or PDF is saved to cloud storage or shared through Gmail, Drive, a messenger or another app, that transfer is initiated by the user and the selected service's privacy policy applies.

Microphone, analytics, ads and Billing

The audited manifest does not include RECORD_AUDIO. Nymelo does not use the microphone, does not record a child or the environment, and does not analyze crying or sound.

The audited app does not include Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Mobile Ads or a custom launch telemetry client. Nymelo uses Google Play Billing for the one-time Nymelo PRO Lifetime purchase with product ID nymelo_pro_lifetime. Google Play processes payment; MW Interactive does not receive card numbers.

Permissions and third-party services

The audited manifest uses Internet and network state for Google Play Billing and network-dependent system services. It declares an optional camera flash hardware feature for night-light/torch functionality, not for recording. Third-party/system services include Google Play Services, Google Play Billing, Android system document picker, Android Share Sheet and local media/file services.

Retention, deletion, children and security

Local data remains on the device until the user deletes it, clears app data or uninstalls the app. User-created backups remain under the user's control wherever they are saved. Nymelo is intended for parents/caregivers, not for children to create accounts or send data to MW Interactive.

Nymelo is designed around local storage and data minimization. No method of local storage, sharing or transmission can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
