Protocol Maker Privacy Policy

About the app

Protocol Maker helps users create handover and service protocols with company data, client data, work descriptions, photos, handwritten signatures and generated PDF documents. Protocol data is primarily processed locally on the user's device. MW Interactive does not operate its own backend for storing or syncing protocol data.

Information stored locally

The app may store locally:

• company and client names, addresses, emails, phone numbers and protocol numbers,
• work descriptions, notes, protocol history, generated PDFs and app settings,
• photos selected or taken by the user, and graphic handwritten signatures,
• local backup files containing app data, protocols, PDFs, photos and signatures.

Photos, signatures and speech-to-text

Photos are selected by the user or taken with the camera, processed locally for the protocol/PDF, and are not uploaded to MW Interactive servers. Handwritten signatures are graphic document elements, not biometric identity verification, and may be included in generated PDFs.

Dictation uses Android/system speech recognition. Protocol Maker does not run its own AI or speech backend. Depending on the device and system settings, speech recognition may be processed locally or by the configured system speech provider.

PDF, sharing and backup

PDFs are generated locally. A user may intentionally share a PDF through Android Share Sheet, email, messenger, cloud drive or another installed app. After sharing, the selected app's privacy policy applies.

Backups are created locally. Password-protected backups are encrypted by the app. The user decides where to save or share the backup file, and MW Interactive does not store a copy.

Free, Pro, ads and billing

The Free version may show banner ads and rewarded ads provided by Google Mobile Ads / AdMob. Rewarded ads may unlock an additional protocol. Google and its partners may process advertising identifiers when available, device information, IP address, diagnostics and ad interactions under Google's own policies.

The app offers Protocol Maker PRO as a one-time purchase with product ID protocol_maker_pro_lifetime. Payment is handled by Google Play Billing. MW Interactive does not receive card numbers or full payment credentials; the app receives purchase entitlement information needed to unlock Pro.

Permissions and third-party services

The app may use Camera for protocol photos, Microphone for dictation, Photos/Photo Picker for selected images, and Internet for ads, Google Play Billing and Google services. Third-party/system services used by the app include Google Play Services / Google Play Billing, Google Mobile Ads / AdMob, and Android/system speech recognition.

Retention, deletion, children and security

Local protocols, saved clients and local files remain on the device until the user deletes them in the app, clears app data or uninstalls the app. Data shared with external apps is handled by those services. The app is not intended for children under 13.

Protocol Maker is designed to minimize data transmission and keep documents local where possible. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
